The priorities can seem overwhelming and the move scary, but growth is a must. As it should to be buying or selling a home is a rejuvenating experience, a new direction of how you live, how you enjoy your house or condo and what brings you pride. I believe these are the first emotions people feel when they start looking at homes on the Internet... then affordability and lifestyle sacrifice kicks in; you get a realtor whose face is on a garbage can and guess what you get? the experience is altogether garbage.

One thing I realized when talking to folks is that people love to buy but hate to be sold, so I came up with The Blok in the spirit of helping you create your life rather than passively being pushed around. I’m not going to focus too much on what a ‘great investment it is’ to buy and sell real estate, heck people are smart, by the time I meet them they probably know a lot more about real estate than me (hello Frank). Financial Planning, affordability? Let me show you the Excel chart Florian drew up, heck I believe this thing should be taught in net growth investment 101.

What I do want to do is show you real people, taking pride in home ownership and along the way you'll see me doing it, bringing people together and sharing stories. You’ll hear my thoughts based on experiences with real people, from the random call “I saw a condo listed for $14,000 in Yorkville, I want to put an offer!” my reply “uhm sir, that is the rent price” to Sadie Schwartz, an adorable old lady who calls up a different real estate agent every weekend because she enjoys house browsing but more importantly Sadie also wanted a drop off at the pharmacy or her sister’s after!! The lady is a genius!

So that is me. That is us. The Blok. a life style. different from the next. a people story. Along the way I hope to input great thoughts into you that motivate you, excite and inspire you. My ultimate wish is to communicate a message from my heart and my gut that I know will have a positive impact on the lives of others. So here’s to us, On your Blok.
